Small business sales edge upward in May as foot traffic continues to slow

The Fiserv Small Business Index was unchanged from April at 144.

Highlights:

• Overall sales grew +0.7% YoY and unchanged MoM
• Foot traffic fell -2.4% YoY and fell -0.2% MoM
• Retail sales grew +0.1% YoY and -0.5% MoM
