Small business sales hold steady, extending 2026's modest growth

The Fiserv Small Business Index held steady at 145 in July.

Highlights:

• Overall sales grew +1.6% YoY and +0.2% MoM 
• Foot traffic fell -1.6% YoY but rose +0.1% MoM 
• Retail sales grew +1.9% YoY and +0.0% MoM
