As Chief Technology Officer at Fiserv, David Thompson leads the company’s Infrastructure, Cyber and Corporate Technology teams, with responsibility for strengthening the technology platforms that support Fiserv’s global operations and client solutions. He brings more than 30 years of technology leadership experience across industries, with deep expertise in technology modernization.
Before joining Fiserv, Thompson served as Chief Information Technology Officer at American Express Global Business Travel, where he oversaw enterprise technology, application development, operations and data systems, information security, and product development. He previously held technology leadership roles at Western Union, Symantec and Oracle.
At Fiserv, Thompson is focused on driving innovation, operational resilience and strong collaboration across technology and business teams to help deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions for clients.
