Chief Operating Officer, Financial Solutions
Andrew Gelb serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Financial Solutions at Fiserv. In this role, he is responsible for performance and execution across the nearly $10B Financial Solutions segment. Financial Solutions provides card issuing and processing, core banking services, payment solutions, and Fiserv’s debit networks.
Andrew leads segment-wide operating processes focused on strengthening client relationships and enabling scalable growth. Andrew also oversees several core business lines and shared capabilities, including the Star/Accel debit network, statement and plastics, education technology, and Cash Flow Central—an integrated cash-flow management solution. In addition, he oversees Financial Solutions’ international strategy broadly and leads the Asia Pacific (APAC) Financial Solutions business specifically.
Andrew joined First Data (now Fiserv) in 2014 as an Executive Vice President and has since held a series of senior leadership roles, including longtime head of our market-leading Issuer Solutions business, as well as broader leadership positions across Financial Solutions.
Prior to joining First Data, Andrew spent nearly two decades at Citi in senior leadership roles across global markets, last serving as Managing Director and Head of Citi’s North America Treasury and Trade Solutions business.
Andrew earned his MBA from Cornell University and his BA from Oberlin College. He serves on the board of directors of Scenic Hudson, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the Hudson Valley region of New York State.
