Collections for Signature

Collections for Signature® from Fiserv allows branch, lending and management personnel to inquire online regarding the history of past due accounts without interrupting the collections department's workflow.

Overview

Collections for Signature is an IBM System i (formerly iSeries) and PC-based solution that automates collections, recovery and tracking of delinquent accounts, charged off accounts, NSF checks written against accounts, foreclosures, bankruptcies, repossessions, dealers, loan officers and special assets.

Collections automates correspondence and facilitates standard messages to the client within the system. Powerful collector queuing and management queuing is available with a robust tickler system to serve the user while providing Executive and Management information required for monitoring the total portfolio's performance. By leveraging the strengths of the two platforms, it is a solution that is unsurpassed in the market.

The System i server is unsurpassed in reliability, security and scalability of the processor and data base management system. By including the ability to get your System i data into Microsoft Office products like Excel and Word, the system gives our users the best of both worlds.

Collection capacity increases (more than doubles from manual collections). Collectors can work more accounts, more aggressively work existing accounts, or perform other responsibilities with new freed collector time (like working charged-off accounts). Increased productivity reduces operating costs, increasing profits.

With the interface to the Signature Transaction (TA) module, you can collect your overdrawn DDAs and load all account (loan and DDA) types for collections into one system.

Features

Your collectors can access any debtor record by its own ID number, or by a unique feature called "Debtor Search." Debtor Search can locate a debtor by name; home, work, or extra telephone number; address; loan number; joint/indirect borrower name; or customer identification number.

In addition to gathering debtor information on demand, you can use the Automated Ledger Card, which sends work according to a uniform, pre-arranged set of priorities. This allows you to then note appropriate comments based on what action occurred with the debtor.

You can also:

  • Log the debtors' promises to pay
  • Update personal information
  • Mark debts for automatic review by setting extension or follow up dates
  • Prompt the system to write a debtor notice by keying in a letter code and issue date, or easily send the letter to Microsoft Word
  • Automatically generate daily and monthly reports – with most of the reports available on demand
