Consumers Value Intelligent Payments Experiences

With a steady flow of new competition in the payments space, creating experiences that meet expectations is more important than ever. Are they able to make payments whenever, wherever and however they want? Are the options easy and intuitive? People notice when their financial organizations “get them.” Select highlights from the research include:

  • Almost three-quarters (72 percent) of consumers would prefer to set up autopay online through their biller or through their financial organization.
  • More than half (58 percent) of digital wallet users increased their usage in the past year.
  • Consumers involved in bill management are more likely to be concerned about the security associated with paying bills (50 percent) than receiving them (38 percent).
