In close to 100 sessions, attendees will learn about top-of-mind topics and get hands-on access to the latest fintech innovations in the Solutions Center.
The Point talked to Ben Johnson to learn why he calls Fiserv Forum a can't-miss event for his Nashville-based credit union and a benchmark for measuring the value of other conferences.
Forum has become a major part of our credit union's strategic plan. We're able to explore current trends and seek out technology to help us address what's next and what's happening at US Community Credit Union. Exposure to new solutions and engaging with Fiserv experts and other credit union professionals help us make solid business decisions. As a direct result of our attendance at Forum, our credit union has implemented new solutions, enhancements and initiatives.
I'm always excited to come back from Forum and share the leadership lessons and passion we've gained from hearing world-class general session speakers. Their messages have motivated me to make a difference for our members and for the larger community. We see value in Forum that goes beyond what we learn about new strategies and solutions. That's one of the reasons we're bringing more and more team members to Forum every year.
The hands-on exposure to new and enhanced products and services in the Solutions Center is very valuable to our team. We get more exposure to new technology in our short time in the Solutions Center than we could any other way. Whatever initiative we're exploring, we can speak directly to the Fiserv product experts for that solution. Plus, seeing everything in one setting helps us engage with new technology on a more individual basis. We can quickly determine if a solution is a good fit for our credit union.
Before we go, we ask our entire staff to weigh in on what questions, concerns and feedback they'd like us to address at Forum and we take that list with us. We use the Forum app to filter sessions, see which apply to our credit union and determine what sessions would be the most valuable for us. The Solutions Center map in the app helps us see what products will be showcased and where. We plan our time so we get the most out of Forum. Having early access to the app helps us do that.
A few weeks ago, I met with another credit union team in our area – a credit union that has never attended Forum. When they asked me about my experience, I told them the value of Forum comes through the connections you create and the insights you gain from exploring new ideas and innovations. Learning about the solutions available to you as a Fiserv client and working face to face with product experts make it one of the most important conferences our credit union attends. I told them Forum arms you with the tools you need to run your credit union and the information to make good operating decisions. By the time we finished our conversation, they'd made their decision. I'll see them at Forum.
